TECNA DC Fly-in
The annual DC Fly-In is an event bringing together members of Congress and key federal stakeholders with leaders in the technology community from across North America to discuss policy priorities. Registration is open to TECNA Members and also their member companies' executives.
Attendees have an opportunity to discuss issues, rules and regulations affecting the tech community, hear from Congressional and committee members, get an inside-the-beltway perspective on upcoming legislative priorities, and meet with their congressional delegations to introduce their businesses and discuss policy priorities.

2026
In April 2026, TECNA hosted our annual DC Fly-In with 13 TECNA Member organizations, plus member companies and partners represented. We had a discussion about the upcoming USMCA/CUSMA review process with David Paterson, Ontario Representative to the United States at our opening reception sponsored by TECNA's Talent Partner - Robert Half. We held a panel discussion around need for a US federal AI Policy framework with Will Burns from Congressman Obernolte’s office and Olivia Igbokwe-Curry of AWS and Doug Kelly of American Edge Project, and a discussion around Innovation in Workforce with Taylor Stockton, Chief Innovation Officer, Department of Labor. Plus, TECNA members met with their home state federal officials to make the case for a federal AI framework and against unnecessary restrictions on American AI development.
2025
In April 2025, our DC Fly-In was a hit! TECNA members from across the US and Canada came together in Washington, D.C., to engage directly with policymakers on critical tech issues. The event offered time to connect and unwind before a full day of dynamic discussions with top voices in technology and policy, followed by impactful meetings on Capitol Hill.
