Joseph Russo Appointed to Technology Councils of North America Board of Directors
Santa Ana, Calif., May 12, 2020 – The Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Russo, founding Executive Director and CEO of Palm Beach Tech Association, to its Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to welcome Joe to the TECNA Board of Directors,” said Doug Robertson, TECNA Chairman and President and CEO of Venn Innovation. “Joe has been a valuable contributor in the TECNA community for several years, and we are delighted he is the newest addition to the Board.”
The TECNA Board voted to appoint Russo to fill the remainder of the term of Tech Manitoba CEO Kathy Knight. Knight recently began a position with Cybersecurity Technology Centre of Excellence, Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.
“We’re working relentlessly for our region's tech industry to grow South Florida into a tech hub,” said Russo. “I'm excited to join the TECNA Board of Directors and work alongside our over 60 Tech Councils to grow and better connect the North American technology economy.”
TECNA serves its members and the industry through its strong peer-to-peer network, professional development programming and regional initiatives to raise the visibility and viability of the technology industry. TECNA represents approximately 60 IT and technology trade organizations who, in turn, represent more than 22,000 technology-related companies in North America.
Twelve other executives from the US and Canada currently serve on the TECNA Board of Directors.
