Volta

Volta is a Halifax-based innovation hub for tech-enabled startups, that provides resources and training for entrepreneurs and innovators in Atlantic Canada. We are a non-profit organization created by founders, for founders. We help remove barriers faced by many startup companies by offering office hours with industry experts, office space, training programs, workshops, Internet, and much more.

Volta is also home to a fully-furnished 5,000-sq.-ft. Co-Working Space, 1,000-sq.-ft. patio and public coffee shop (Sine Coffee Labs) for our network/corporate members and resident companies to enjoy. We host approximately 200 events per year, ranging from Lunch + Learns and Women Taking Over The World With Technology (WTWT) meetups, to networking functions, pitch competitions, and everything in between.
